HUNTR/X

Huntrix is a three‑member K‑pop girl group central to the Netflix animated musical KPop Demon Hunters. Comprised of Rumi (leader and main vocalist), Mira (main dancer, visual, lead vocalist), and Zoey (main rapper, maknae), the trio rise to superstardom while secretly fighting demons to uphold the mystical barrier called the Honmoon. By day they perform for sold‑out arenas; by night they battle supernatural threats spawned by the demon king Gwi‑Ma.
Each member of Huntrix represents a distinct archetype with matched fighting abilities: Rumi’s vocals create protective spiritual shields; Mira channels spiritual energy through choreography; Zoey’s rap and lyrics can bind and weaken demons with her twin sinkal blades rooted in Korean shamanic tradition. Their identities are deeply woven into Korean mythology, fashion, and folklore motifs—such as norigae pendants, hanbok-inspired stagewear, and royal folding screen visuals. These creative choices underscore both their K‑pop idol image and demon‑slaying mission.
The group’s original soundtrack—including tracks “Golden,” “How It’s Done,” “Takedown,” “Soda Pop,” and “What It Sounds Like”—skyrocketed into global popularity. Produced by prominent K‑pop songwriters (Teddy Park, Ejae), and featuring performances by members of TWICE (Jungyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung), the OST topped streaming charts worldwide. Notably, “Golden” hit number one on the Billboard Global 200 and surpassed Blackpink’s record for a female K‑pop group on US Spotify, establishing the film’s music as a cultural sensation.
Beyond being a fictional act, Huntrix has transcended the screen to become a symbolic bridge between modern K‑pop and animated mythic storytelling, resonating with fans worldwide and generating buzz around potential sequels and expanded lore.
