Rolling Quartz
Rolling Quartz is a five-member South Korean rock band formed under Rolling Star Entertainment. Known for their dynamic performances and distinct rock sound, the group consists of members Jayoung (vocals), Iree (lead guitar), Hyunjung (rhythm guitar), Areum (bass), and Yeongeun (drums). They officially debuted on December 30, 2020, with their single "Blaze."
The band’s musical style blends classic rock elements with contemporary influences, setting them apart in the largely pop-dominated Korean music scene. Rolling Quartz gained recognition for their powerful covers of popular K-pop songs and their ability to infuse rock energy into diverse genres. Their debut album, "Fighting," released in 2022, reached notable positions on iTunes rock charts globally, including the U.S., showcasing their rising international appeal. Rolling Quartz's fandom, called "Diadem," is known for their passionate support of the band.
Beyond their studio work, Rolling Quartz has actively engaged in live performances and tours, gaining attention for their energetic shows. Upcoming plans include concerts in South Korea and tours across Europe and North America.
